(no subject)
Hello, all! I know I haven't done much wizardly crafting as of late, but this week I finished knitting up arm scarves, as I've taken to calling them.
(Sorry, it's a little on the big side.)
I was inspired partially by someone either here or in hp_knitting. I can't remember whose now, but theirs were the trapped bar pattern. I made them for a friend, so these match her scarf. Also, I have really small hands, so they actually fit the right length on her. ^^;
Mine were four rows of rib at each end, and 6 rows St st per stripe (so the two with the rib were just longer green stripes). Starting in the 6th stripe and about half of the 7th, I knit it flat for the thumbhole. Plain old Red Heart worsted weight yarn on US 6 dpns.
