For those of you that have not heard, I got in a wreck tonight. I was driving to gainesville, and I was on I10 almost to 75, when I realized the car in front of me was going about 50. I decided to try to pass it, so I hit the gas a little. Well, what I am assuming is that I hit a puddle and then hydroplaned across the interstate. I remember seeing blurs of lights (car lights) and hitting the grass and slamming on the breaks and sliding until I hit a pile of dirt. An old couple and their grandson pulled over to make sure I was ok. I was fine. They informed me I did a 360 across the interstate and then hit the pile of dirt. If my car would have rotated even a little bit further, I would have hit a tree head on, and probably been serverely injured. Rob came about 45 minutes later, right when they toed my car out of the ditch. My car is fine (of course, this thing is a beast) and besides my neck being a little sore, I'm fine. We left my car in lake city because driving is the last thing I wanted to do, and rob drove me to gainesville. It was the scariest moment of my life. I always have nightmares of where I lose control and skid across the road, and tonight, it happened. But I'm alive, so I guess thats one more experience I've got under my belt.
