ROBBBBBB
Rob says I don't really say anything about him in my entries, so he is in the subject box. Now since it is winter break, most of you long term livejournal friends know I write the longest f-ing entries EVER, so if you are really bored, you can read this. if you aren't really bored, you can read this too.
So NYC with Rob, tyler and chelsea....cool.....transit strikes...not so much. We got there, decided to buy a 7 day pass for the subway thinking we would be on the subway a cajillion times. WRONG-O. Day 2 of our trips, one subway ride put on the old metro card, transit strike. UGH. So we had a $24 subway ride, but my god, was it the best subway ride of my LIFE. Our hotel was pretty cool, no problems sneaking in the extras (we only paid for 2 people staying there). THe first night we ate dinner and then went to rockefeller to look at the tree and ice skaters and stuff. I have never been so cold in my life, but it was fund. I liked dressing like an eskimo.
Day 2 we started off with a brisk walk to the natural history museum after being informed that we could not use the subway. It was worth it to see some sweet ass dinosaur stuff. Chelsea can suck it, dinosaurs rule. Especially ones named denver that go to school and wear hawaiin shirts and ride a skateboard. That evening was CONANNNNNNNNNNN. We sat next to the smelliest people I've ever came across but besides that it RULED. Jim carey was the guest and he was very silly. Isaac hayes was the musical guest and he was kewl. It was an all around fun experience. We went to a sucky restaurant that night but tyler and chelsea owned it with their tip.
Next day we went to macys minus tyler, then we got tickets to hairspray. Hairspray was actually really really good. I think I am going to invest in the soundtrack. It had some very catchy little songs in it.
Last day we went to the museum of modern art. Saw some cool stuff. I'm not going to lie and pretend I'm all into art, but it had some pretty interesting stuff none the less. Later we went to bloomies and looked in the windows at all the cool stuff for christmas. YAY FUN. We left that night an hour late. BLAH. Rob and I had live entertainment with this italian guy and his wife fighting the whole time. My favorite line of the fight was when the husband says "i am going to kill you and chop you up into pieces". COOL. I'm glad people stay with crazy ass people like that. I started getting scared near the end. This poor little girl, couldn't have been over 15, had to sit next to them. I've never seen someone run so quickly off a plane.
YAY it was a fun trip. Christmas was okay. Got some things, did some things. FUN. K BYE
