Oh, this is so good... I found it clicking through links... somewhere. Can't even remember where, now, but it is by a literary critic and discusses why everyone likes Snape so much even though JKR continually expresses surprise that he is so 'fascinating'.

The article is full of DH-spoilers. It is also bang-on.
