(no subject)
I just had the most amazing IM conversation with my good friend, Andre. We discussed:
1.) SPIDER-MAN: It was awesome. I told him topher grace was playing eddie brock to which he replied "what kind of body type does topher have?" I told him tall, scrawny. He replied 'no, no this is all awrong. venom is BIG. even w/o the costume he is BIG." And more, and why he thinks Spidy 3 will be bad and me defending it. But yeah another reason why Andre is my friend: Spiderman lover overall.
2.) We discussed the possibility of attending a liberal arts college together. Although I am researching colleges with good film/theatre, journalism, and english programs. Preferably in the UK (England), or CA. The only one here is Southeast Missouri State (thanks to the awesome straight-forward security officer at my hs!) he told me Southeast is the #1 j school...or some college in missouri. And NYU has an awesome film program. I'm such a nerd. :D
3.) I explained why I feel Garden State was highly overrated (also like Napoleon Dynamite) and how I suggest he read Garden State's awesome reviews, then watch it. I told him he'd be sitting there waiting for the good part to come...only it never wil. Two hours wasted, him thinking "wtf, Zach Braff?" (Disclaimer: I like Zach Braff in scrubs and if you dig garden state I still like you!)
4.) I discussed being pretentious and spending time making short films and drinking starbucks. Andre and I won't become pretentious, he won't drink starbucks, but will go there with me, we will make short films/documentaries.
5.) I pretended to be Anderson Cooper and linked a bunch of pics with comments like "me being alluring, me being demure, me being serious, me wearing Tom Ford, damn my hair is fly."
Obviously I am ridiculous but I swear the conversation was amazing. I'm going to make Andre and like 2 other friends go see HP5 and Spidy 3 with me this upcoming summer. I will drive since my mom is getting me a car for my bday. I need to call my dad, also. He LOVES spiderman used to collect the comics. And I have his father's day/bday present.
HAPPY BELATED 48TH BIRTHDAY DADDY, WHOA SOMEONE'S ALMOST OVER THE HILL!!

ps I am also quite the little insomniac. I will probably go to sleep @ 5am. :( Oh and I'm putting together a booklist for Barnes & Noble. Some books I need to pick up, some coming out soon.
