Brokeback, Gyllenhaal and Olympics

Hi everyone *waves*...I'm still alive :D, this semester has just been extra crazy. I can't wait to get back to posting/commenting and FA.org.

So just a bunch of randomness right now...

Brokeback Mountain:

I watched Brokeback Mountain a few weeks ago and I am still in awe with that movie, it was just amazing and such a tear-jerker! I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Who else has watched it? What did you think?

Jake Gyllenhaal

And I'll have to add Jake Gyllenhaal to my favourites. He was just absolutely spectacular in Brokeback. He won the BAFTA for best supporting actor and he was *so* surprised, it was adorable but he really deserved it. And when he was giving his acceptance speech there was this big close up on Rupert Grint...random. Anyway, Jake Gyllenhall for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars!!! (Even if his chances aren't that great, being the youngest and with all that competition).

Olympic Hockey

And to all my Canadian friends out there, WE WON GOLD!!! In women's hockey!!!! Man, it was so exciting to watch, but I must admit, us Canadians know how to rake up the penalties (though I only watched the 1st and 3rd period). Congrats to Sweden and USA as well!!!!

Men's hockey is turning out to be such a surprise, the Slovakians are giving everyone a run for their money and Canada can't seem to keep up (I'm still hoping, though).

Hopefully I'll be around more often from now on! Cheers :D!
