I have decided to continue using livejournal, because I dont want to loose base with people I know solely from here!
So start over! YAY!
I am "working" at harbour Playhouse as an assisstant for the Child Day camp shows. Kids come and rehearse for one week, and then perform the next week for day-care's and other kids. I learn teach all the choreography, and write down all of the blocking,. and BABYSIT really rude children!!! But it is all good, it gives me something to do, and I get some money, which is good since I don't have to get a REAL job this summer!
These past three days I was up at UNT, for Freshman orientation. I honestly had a blast, and met alot of great people! Although my Team Leader,(question answer'er dude), wasn't very helpful, and my Academic Adviser's sucked I was totally nervous about classes and stuff!!! My Dance Adviser was so loopy, and didn't know anything at all, then I went over to the Theatre Advisor, and he actually knew what he was talking about, but any question that I asked that wasn't centered around the word "Theatre", was given an "I don't know BABE!" So then I went to the Blagg room in the Kerr dorm, where they had people, specialized to help people with course selection. They couldn't really help me, although I must say they answer a few more questions, I just decided to do it by myself, and pick the classes I thought I needed!!! I did fine when I was in the lab signing up, and I go in and out REALLY fast! I am taking 18 hours! Although it is alot, I am sure that the way I scheduled them, anmd all of the other factors, will work in my favor!
"Singin' in the Rain" rehearsal's have started, and they are fun. The only problem is that everyday Chad (Don), Natalie (Kathy), and I (Cosmo), have to come in for 1 hour of tap rehearsal with the dance captain's (Margaret Jarboe and Jessica Freed), to learn our EXTREMELY HARD numbers!! I think I am going to die! If you come and see it you will understand what I am saying!!!
OH YEH! And I got my room assignment! I am in Kerr, in the "A" tower, and Scott is my roomate. So all is well!!! YAH!!!
On top of all that I leave for Denton in 65 dyas1 Well 64, we got to leave the day before we move in to be ready for it, but yeh!
I am excited about the rest of this summer, and what it has in store for me! I want to make the best out of it!
Well that is all for now!
Till Next Time!
Bu-Bye!
