I was awoken last night by what I assume was the first of (many?) finals week traditions here at UCLA. At the stroke of midnight everyone in Westwood went out into the streets and screamed their lungs out for 60 seconds. I assume this is a one night thing. I'd never heard of it. It would have been pretty cool if I didn't have a final to wake up at

Haha...we have something like that, except it's with just freshmen taking Econ001. The night before their first midterm, every freshman taking the class (which is almost everyone) goes outside in the quad (half-naked although a lot of people completely streak) and yells. It's called "econ scream".

But yeah, good stuff... :-P
