For Those Curious...
Yes, I'm still alive. Currently in DC in the middle of my vacation. I've been writing about my experiences, and had planned to post a large 'vacation journal' entry when I return. I've had ups and downs - a couple very nice ups, and a few very bad downs. This will be a long-remembered vacation...until I can take a better one.
At least I've called a few places back in California and had good reception. I don't think I'll be homeless anytime soon.
