classical music

So, here I am, at a friends, surfing livejournal on my Sony TH55 listening to a dvd with classical music in DTS and it reminds me I am starting to research a new reciever for my livinb room. I figure one of of my friends out there has some good advise on what to buy. Currently I have a 5.1 DTS/DD sytem by Onkyo with Cambridge Soundworks speakers (tower ii's in the front, center theater for he center channel, 12" sub, and som bipolar rears). I won't be changing anything but he reciever. So, the requirements are, DTS5.1 or better, Dolby digital (which is almost a throw in these days), coponent video switching, optical in, support for additional set of front peakers (for music in the dining room). I also don't want to go nuts on the price, I might consider spending 500 bucks but it better be a good reason toeven go that high. I like good sond, but I am not insane about it. So, any suggestions? I like Onkyo, but if there is a bette bang for he buck, I am all for it.
