Dear Fandom5k Writer

First, yay for being matched, second, thank you and I promise I'm fairly easy and I will appreciate anything you write!

Given the length of work you'll be creating for this, I felt like I needed to provide you with a little more depth then my comments on the sign up. So here are some general things, and some ideas.

Likes
- Characters with depth (I get attached to characters, so if you want to go with a character study, nail the character you choose and I will adore you)
- Good representation (PoC, LGBT, disabled, women)
- Found family, fallen together tight knit friends, to the ends of the earth together, now we're together we shall never part
- The aftermath - a lot of canon skips the recovery and the dealing after traumatic events, but it's something that I really enjoy looking at. Give me off screen hurt followed by all the comfort/coping
- Fusions (daemons, drift compatibility, crews of space ships, and they fight crime...)
- Gen - I love a good shippy fic, but gen is great too :)

Dislikes
- Character Bashing
- Incest (blood relations)
- Non con / Dub con
- Hurt without comfort/pay off
- Identity Erasure
- High School, College AUs - at least partly because in many the characters end up very OOC

On the fence - A/B/O - there are some good ones, but some terrible ones (completely altering a character because they are an omega, nope, this trope is a really weird one)

Requested Fandoms

Trisana Chandler, Daja Kisubo

Action/Adventure AU - SciFi / Fantasy Elements Canon Style Plot Character Development Hurt/Comfort Interpersonal Drama Mystery/Procedural Slice of Life Worldbuilding

Daja is a really interesting character, she shifts a lot with the writing between each book series she appears in but she's got a lot of depths. I love the glimpses at how traders live, and the whole world building involved in her early childhood - the only other with near the same level is Briar.

Tris again an interesting character - my main thing with Tris is that I totally head canon her as asexual. It's kinda, avoided in the actual books, but she never has a sexual relationship so it's not against canon either (she can totally have romantic/intellectual relationships).

Both also have some disability meta in their stories, as well as outcast status.

Yes, incest is in my 'dislike' list, but these four are more found family, four really close friends for all they call each other siblings. There's the added interesting colours, with Sandry and Briar both edging towards Bisexual, Daja only liking girls and Tris not really doing such things. So it's interesting relationship working/negotiation wise.

Plots - I preferred the types of plot in the quartets than Will of the Empress. So crime solving would be great, as would exploring how they support each other and actually talk/communicate their traumas. (I've read all the books so :) )
Them as teachers, or years in the future.

Open to any AUs you may wish, though keeping some connection to their magic, as it is very much a part of who they are as people.

Jillian and Erin are both really interesting women, both driven by their love for what they do, but in their own ways.

I love crazy in love with her work Jillian, and the fact she doesn't conform - give me a selection of her hijinks before and after the film. Show me owning all the men she encounters and being unmoved by what they think.
How did she meet Abby - how did they bond so well?

Totally up for epic romance (in Erin's head complete with sappy music) between Jillian and Erin. Including talks about what does and does not belong where in their shared space.

The team, just, hunting ghosts, taking a hearse through a drive through, setting guidelines for long term work.....so much potential. Go for it.

Bodhi recovering from everything. The guy had it seriously tough. Give him some time to breathe and some tender care and supportive people around him. How did this Jedha boy end up as an imperial pilot then setting off to sell them out.

I love both Chirrut and Baze's relationship and Cassian and Kaytoo's - there is so much before Rogue one for those two sets, so anything, how they met, a particular thing that bonded them. (Chirrut being blind is important - hell if you want to do everyone lives, but with adaptions, go for it, not like there isn't a bunch of people in star wars missing body parts but still being involved ;) I will love you all the more for showing the struggle to adapt if you went that way)

Everyone lives AUs are good - does it change the outcome? Do they hide away until the dust settles? Are they related to anyone in the future? What did they mean/represent to people?

Team goals - complete AUs where the same group ends up together in other worlds.

Star Trek (Alt Original)
Jaylah & Scotty

Action/Adventure Angst AU - Canon Divergence AU - Genre Shift AU - SciFi / Fantasy Elements Canon Style Plot Character Development Hurt/Comfort Interpersonal Drama Mystery/Procedural Slice of Life Worldbuilding

These two have an amazing relationship in the movie - with the whole father/daughter type interaction, while being semi equals.

I'd love to see him being her guardian - have postcards from the academy and him giving support, being all proud parent - or finding a way for her to just start on the Enterprise, and Jaylah interacting with all the different people and taking things to Scotty all bemused and the pair puzzling over things and building things.

Just engineering bonding and hijinks. (Jaylah backstory getting in there, and Keenser. Bonus for Scotty teaching Jaylah Gaelic and her teaching him her native language).
