In less than 30 minutes the polls will close and counting will being. I'll be waking up tomorrow morning to hear whether Scotland will be independent, or whether it will remain a part of the union.
Either way, things are going to change - though the bigger change will be Scotland becomes independent, and it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. It'll effect both sides of the border as well. (We were in Scotland when the new parliament became reality in 1999 - so much has been changing just within my lifetime).
It's a weirder time as well - given that I've been actively looking at jobs in Scotland...and the news I wake up to in the morning will have an effect on that (Scottish Prehistory was the subject of both of my dissertations - given a choice I would love to work just on the archaeology of the western isles). I've also been poking at distance learning PhDs....
It'll be an interesting morning, whatever the result.
