State of the weasel
Sorry I've not been around much - between work and puppies, I don't spend much time online. (Work 7.30-15.30 - with about 45min travel time either side - puppies get fed at 4 and 8, with time out at 10 - spend an hour out going crazy - we're down to three feeds a day now though (c7, c12, c7) so shouldn't be so crazy - but walking starts for the little one in a week, so.....yeah afternoons = busy)
Have today off (second vaccination day, so I figured, use flexi time I have and take a day to be lazy ;))

I have a tonne of writing to get done (my polybigbang fic? The pairing I seem to now be writing, ummmmm, I have no idea) - also Sign ups for arists for the Leverage Reverse Big Bang are now open at thebigbangjob ;)
And now for this week's tv reactions - well, castle and criminal minds (not sure how I feel re: once upon a time and grimm yet - still liking Terra Nova - and I need to catch up on Lost Girl)
Castle
Last week's ep? Felt a lot like a Jonathan Creek episode *heh* - so yeah I kinda loved it (plus HIM - aka man I forever think of as Kowalski - thank you SG-1)
This week's? The fact the robbers blew themselves up, was the only bit I didn't like, because it was really hard to believe. I twigged that seizure bloke was in on it though (cos they always are in tv land - generally)
Also *pets Alexis* - that really is the real test of a boyfriend - when you call PANICKING do they answer straight away and drop everything to be there? If no, dump their ass unless they have a really good reason (life or death situation/no signal so didn't get message). If yes keep them (seriously, my mum did that to my dad - the man broke the record time to get home from where he was working - that's love that).
Here's hoping Beckett and Castle actually get together this season (if they won't, it will get on my nut, and my love for the show will die FAST) - I still love the interaction between Martha and Beckett - plus the boys *pets them* - Ryan's little 'wait, we're going there?' bit at the end *giggles*
Generally loving this season (Castle hasn't changed - it's always been a show with reality issues - so I have no problem taking the 'WTF like that would work' moments in stride (helped by the fact that they don't take themselves totally seriously)) - I do miss Montgomery though. And we need more Laney *nods*

-I am still hating the unsub focus - I completely lost all interest in him really really fast, and it was boring (HATED the near death bits *makes face*) - Also, sticking to the unsub, PLEASE GOD CM ACTUALLY TAKE LESSONS IN ACTUAL CPR (they FAIL at showing it done right, so hard, and it looks especially bad when it's a plot point. if he did it that way, he would have been unsuccessful more often, PLUS CPR doesn't actually work often enough for him to have been successful MULTIPLE times *head desk* (yes I was actually told that when I was doing a first aid training session as a 11 year old *g*)- my belief, really NOT suspended, the unsub could totally have had paddles and drugs to do it with, which would have still been pushing it, but not quite so much)
-The park police suck ass - especially during the part where the unsub was killing that mother and son, in broad daylight, in an exposed area on the lake - seriously, WTF? No one noticed? Also I almost giggled my ass off - the coldest part of a lake? Is kinda the bottom (the top, and any shallow water, will never be the coldest water, not during the day, I'd allow a bit for a cloudy day but, really NO) - I just *mutters into desk* (I know, so picky, but I never used to notice this stuff *sighs*)
-I remember, fondly, the days when they used to be shown working with the local police, and we got some kick ass guest detectives
-Small yay for some victim agency being shown *pets the son* - even if he did run towards the water *face palm* (poor mother, walking with the broken ribs she had to have EEP)
-also, small yay for Hotch in just a shirt, oh so many times (so they were there, like three days? Judging on the Hotch shirts)
-Reid and Emily, both died, both had different experiences, the emotions between them all was good, more interesting, the little head shake and the looks from Hotch (I don't know, for certain, whether TG was playing that as Hotch had coded during the whole Foyet thing, but to me, that's what that little mini mouth twitch and unnoticed head shake was - Hotch isn't the type to actually say something)
-Emily, is very much the go to for everyone this season - and it's kinda, grating a little, because it doesn't always make sense, character wise ( yes, most of Emily's big revelations have been made to Rossi, but Rossi's have either been forced out of him, or made to Hotch (the only time he does otherwise is to make the others feel better ala JJ at the end of 'Cold Comfort' - Hotch tends to spill to Rossi, Reid and JJ more, so the bit about Jack the ep before last was REALLY awkward to me - but your mileage may totally vary)
-The end - I bawled my eyes out, but at the same time, really really ARGH (knowing he wouldn't help her, but asking, then MAKING him sit there while she KILLED HERSELF? - (I have issues re:suicide, due to people I've known/family members - and this scene? v much matched those experiences - it was suicide as a selfish act (if he'd turned up, instead of her CALLING HIM, it wouldn't be, but yeah, just *fumes*) - I thought they would deal with the issue better (him walking in, saying 'I can't help' and her trying to argue him over, then accepting it, yes - her FORCING him to watch? No)
Plus him not calling 911? Unless she left a note, that without a doubt says he didn't help......yeah.........rarely doesn't look like potential murder (he would prob be cleared - but the 'didn't call 911 or try to help' bit, is kinda, ummmm, not of the good - though I don't know if that's different in the US) - I just, there is an epic rant that wants to done on how badly they sold out that plot line (that really really badly should have been drawn out - such an epic cop out *mutters*) - even if a small part of me, the one people will stink eye, is now like, so that happened on the 26th October, so the ep started on the 22nd, or there abouts *face palm*
-ZOMG - they had a baby, who died the same day he was born *wants to smish Rossi so hard*
-Judging from the promo for next week - it ain't going to get any better (espec as there's a way they COULD have taken that idea and it been awesome, but from the promo? They took the 'wouldn't it be cool' route *face palm*)
