Taking a break from my big bang work (not that I really need a break from picspaming topless!sean bean...) to post my reaction to Criminal Minds (6x22) - which is mostly shallow, but partly to do with the case
( Read more... )
spn -the girls were all pretty, now it's just boys, well not entirely, but mostly - yeah I never really liked the angel/demons thing
I have no idea what they'll do/are doing with a seventh season o.O
spin offs always seem to suck at relating to the parents shows (trying to figure out the timeline with Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis was neigh on impossible, more so because of the number of crossovers *flails*) - I don;t think they ever actually think about it
HEH dad wandered in when I was watching Criminal Minds once, eyed the jet, informed me what type it was, then ambled out again *pets the aircraft engineer father* - he does it with scenery as well if he's been to where they filmed (that's mostly what he remembers of brokeback mountain) - but yes, with that jet, they should have better timing ;)
Not welsh - though I seem to have acquired some occassional welsh - I have a strange mixed up Britsh accent (parents from essex, me born in norfolk, raised in Cornwall, the Highlands and Lancashire, uni in bournemouth and cardiff - and friends from birmingham and london - and I tend to pick up bits depending on where I am) - basically, I confuse people ;)
Hee! Me too. I tend to pick up other people's accents and speech patterns really quickly. And I've been told I don't really have "an accent", although I tend to skew toward the American Deep South. Because that's the accent I prefer. I grew up right outside Pittsburgh, PA and I've worked VERY hard to not have that accent as I think it's horrid.
As for spin-offs, I rarely think they work. Yes, sometimes they're ok, but most of the time, just no.
I just remembered, randomly, there was a LEO as killer, only he didn't call in the BAU (the one with the female lead cop that got killed, it was about illegals getting killed in the desert)

Yeah spinoffs rarely do well/often go too far
