Mayday

Dear diary,
life is lifey, work is worky and little is well in the world. On the other hand, I've been to Tanzania, and it is fabulous. Important things to remember to bore the grandchildren with about Tanzania:

jellyfish, very dangerous,
sea, incredibly green in the tropical waters of zanzibar,
tide goes out for almost a mile

NB weave above into spurious and unlikely tale involving sea snakes, jellyfish attacks, carrying canoes through the waters, inshore coral reefs and the importance of taking pictures with long lenses whilst eating battered prawns. Remember this did actually happen, but accept in beardy wing back arm-chair way that no one will ever believe this.

In other news, on personality test for Phillip Pulman movie, I have scored as a raccoon. An f-ing raccoon, I f-ing ask you. To soften this blow they described it as 'modest, competitive, sociable and a leader'. I would have described it as 'garbage loving vermin, usually up to its ruff in other people's property'. Maybe I do suit this place.

Angola continues to be a fairly depressing country to be in. The elections are now back to '2008 or 9'. Shambles.

Currently have four jobs. That's three too many in my book. Especially since I only get one pay cheque. Thank god, I'll be down to three by Tuesday.

Organisation now so bad that my house is being used as overflow accommodation, have finally got the place back to myself for the first time since February.

Miss everyone lots, have only just had holiday, so also need to front up and get a grip.

Enough drivel for now.
