Went down to Blacksburg for the weekend to see my cousin Joseph Lee graduate from Virginia Tech...he is now a proud Marketing and Management graduate...and oh boy was it tedious...over a thousand names to be called, horrendous weather and a power outage in the gym where the graduation was taking place. Not to mention the Big graduation celebration Saturday which was rained out. (luckily, geochick, Josh and I were safe and sound and dry at geochicks mom house *WIN*)
This was also a chance for geochick's mom to get some grandma-grandson time which was well deserved and enjoyed from both sides...He was off his schedule for the weekend but that was to be expected...and five hours in the car is about his limit we found...as we rounded the beltway and he started to fuss. But he had plenty of smiles and grins for the family and we got some really good pics. He is getting big and fun and expressive and is the biggest flirt! Had a great time down at the Duck Pond and some really great photo's...
Home now and relaxing, ready to face the week...!
