[Welcome to Regene's room, as this may now effectively be called. After all, this is where he has been lying for quite some time now. Until roughly the 15th of July, he was comatose, due to some strange virus localized to the denizens of his world. The others became children, or former version of themselves. For Regene, he returned to his time in stasis, his time before time. During this coma, he was completely unaware of the outside world, and completely unresponsive to any stimuli.
After this, however, he remained asleep, but intentionally so. Now was the time for work. He'd promised Wesker that he'd restore the island's security systems to their proper glory, after all. This was the perfect way to remain undistracted and uninterrupted. The task ahead was enormous, as the new system couldn't be reliant on Veda-type underpinnings. But he could easily remain like this for days, even a few months. The nanomachines in his body meant that his muscles wouldn't atrophy, and he was already attached to various drips and support mechanisms.
And so, this is where he is, should anyone wish to visit him, or see if he has any intention of waking up soon. Should you address him directly, he could be too engrossed in his work to hear you, or he might just be listening to your every word.]
