[Screen turns on to the sky, ash falling from the sky just like the weather report said., there’s something green that appears in the corner every now and again but its hard to make out what it is. And then there is the familiar sound of someone getting zapped.]

[The communicator is picked up, revealing that he‘s sitting in the tree atop the Highschool, the green seen before could have been either the leaves, or the poncho he’s wearing to keep the worse of the ash out of his fur.]
Leave me alone.
[And with that Knuckles drops the communicator out of the tree. The school roof rushes up to meet the camera before it goes dark, but the video doesn‘t time out for a few more seconds, Knuckles mutters under his breath but the distance makes it hard to hear...]
