That's what I was thinking. Two small quakes this close together is not a good sign.

We should prepare for the worst, maybe set up a shelter to be safe.

Having a shelter standing by would be a good idea, but only the wearhouses in the industrial sector would be big enough I think, and they'd have to be cleared of monsters first.

The police did something like that for clearing out the hospital a while back.
I don't see why it wouldn't work again.

I'm not exactly in the best shape for a fight right now, but I could help take out some of the smaller ones at least.

Well, I'm a bit after most of the people here.

Synths are creatures used by the Combine for an attack force. They were the 'baddies' where I'm from.

I wouldn't call it that interesting, but I sure haven't lead a life like most of the humans in this place.
