Done something you've regretted?
No because regret is counter-productive, yadda yadda. Truth be told, I've been having less control over my reactions to things this year, and I'd like to have that back.
Lost someone?
Yes. I lost a good friend of mine to breast cancer this past Saturday. It had been a 2 year battle, so we were prepared, but it still hurts to lose her. I also lost a friend to circumstances.
Cut class/work?
Em and I skipped a day early this year jsut to have together. Shortly after that, I had to take some time off and lost all my vacation.
Were involved in something you'll never forget?
I think it's safe to say that I won't be forgetting a lot of 2008 for quite some time.
Visited a different country?
Unfortunately, no, though it's on the to do list.
Cooked a gross meal?
There were some fried chicken fingers that I deemed inedible. It was experimental, though.
Got a gift you adore?
I still marvel at how Em was able to get me a 360 for my birthday. "Adore" is putting it lightly.
Tripped over a coffee table?
We didn't even have one until the year was half over. Even then, it was pushed out of the way.
Dyed your hair?
Nope.
Came close to losing your life?
Had I listened to the ER @ Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton, possibly. I had an impacted kidney stone that resulted in an infected kidney, and they sent me home with some pain killers. I ended up staying 3 days in a hospital by the time I broke down and went to a different ER.
Went to a party?
Several. And I hope that pace doesn't slow anytime soon.
Read a great book?
Nothing that really stands out.
Saw one of your favorite bands/artists live?
I got to see ben Folds live which was just awesome. I also got to see some of my favorite wrestlers (Samoa Joe, El Generico, Necro Butcher) in local shows, as well.
2008: Friends and Enemies
Did you meet any new friends this year?
Lots. And they're all awesome.
Did you dislike anyone?
I disliked the actions of people sometimes, but I like to like everyone at least a little.
Did you grow apart from anyone?
Naturally. It makes me sad to say that some of them weren't for the right reasons.
Do you have any regrets when it comes to your friendships?
No, because I'm in a really good spot right now with some amazing friends.

Did you have a cake?
No, I had something much better: sushi!
Did you have a party?
I had a surprise dinner with a bunch of friends which was very cool.
Did you get any presents?
Yes! See aformentioned 360.

Did you change at all this year?
Quite a bit, actually. Some good, some bad. I hope to get my feet back under me in 2009
Did you change your style?
Not fashion-wise. But my thinking, feeling, and even life style all changed this year. Adjustment in progress.
Were you in school?
No. But for the first time in a long time, I've considered the possiblity of going back.
Did you get good grades?
My performance review scored well.
Did you have a job?
The same one the whole time.
Did you drive?
Definitely. A lot. I live close to work, but I do a lot of other driving.
Did you own a car?
2. And I bought one of them this year.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! Close friends of ours had their second baby.
Did you move at all?
No. Wow, that's actually kinda amazing.
Did you go on any vacations?
Myschieva FTMFW. Fuck you, French Camp.
Would you change anything about yourself now?
Yes. As has been the theme, 2008 knocked me on my ass. I am anxious to get back my momentum.
