Yeah me and spelling and grammar aren't such good friends. I like to think I'm down with the obvious but thank for letting me know I'll watch the "things" in future :) Niiice picture by the way.
Eh.. well, you seem to have a good grasp on the basics and write stuff that makes sense. :P A step up from many others I've seen, who can barely grasp sentence structure in some cases.
The thing's vs things bit.. have noticed you do that with other words too. Remind me and I'll try and teach you where to use apostrophes. Or.. there's this link for now.
Tbh, it's the biggest issue I've seen in your stuff, grammar-wise, so if you can get a grasp on that, you're pretty much good. :)
(Sorry. Editor in me sometimes takes over. Hope I'm not being too... anything with this.)
No, definitly not being annoying or anything at all. The more critique the better IMO, and I respect your oppinion more than most so that helps. I guess at some point I should actually sit down and learn grammar that I ignored in high-school :)
Often for me, when it comes to grammar and spelling - I do it how I think it looks right, not what is right.
Nicely written.

Noticed you do it a lot, but... thing's.. no need for the apostrophe. Should just be 'things'. ;)

Yeah, possibly good to look into it.
That's generally what I used to do as well. Got most of it right. But there are some things that are just a little bit more tricky, so.. :)
