Chinen doesn’t believe he is too old to visit the playground near his house, especially when he's not in a good mood. He also doesn’t think it’s odd that he chooses to forget about his jealousy by taking a seat on the swing set and gently pushing off from the ground. The small kick doesn’t set him off too fast, but he’s content with the soft swinging back and forth. As he grips tighter on the seat’s chains, he allows a sigh blow past his sad pout.
He hadn’t meant to spy on the most recent 3-D student in the café earlier. Honestly, Chinen had only went into that specific café to meet up with Yuto and Kaite (Keito), but right when Chinen walked in, he had caught sight of a familiar brunette. From his view at the entrance door, Chinen could see that Takaki sat at a table near the back of the place and wasn’t alone. Even though he had to stand on his tippy-toes to get a closer look, he was surprised to see the face of Kato Rubi sitting across from Takaki.
The two must had been at the cafe for quite a while, from the looks of Takaki's half-eaten croissant and the lipstick stained coffee cup in front of Rubi. Not that Chinen stayed longer to ask, because he took off as soon as he had come.
It wasn't that Chinen was worried, because he wasn't the possessive type of boyfriend, but the sight of the two of them certainly killed his mood and set off an insecure fire he didn't know he had. He didn't even bother to inform Yuto of his early leave as he ran to the only place he knew he could calm down without the hustle and bustle of the city.
However, Chinen is brought back to reality when he feels a cold wind blow past him, making him shiver in his thin jacket. But knowing he won't sleep well unless he gets over his jealous mood, he refuses to leave his comfort zone.

His little while turns into an hour and then another, not even bothering to answer the phone that's ringing in his bag.
Chinen doesn't even hear the sound of footsteps that stop behind him or how a breath of relief is let out at the sight of him either.
However, he does feel the gentle hands that suddenly wrap around his waist from behind and pull him off the swing, only to be pulled into a hug. As nice as the warmth feels spreading to his back, Chinen initially feels scared because his feet dangle a foot off the ground and he doesn't have enough strength to turn around to see the person's face. He begins to panic, hoping it's not a pervert or stalker. But before he can thrash and scream for help, an all too familiar voice whispers in his ear.
"Chii, you had me worried." Takaki sounds like he is out of breath as he tightens his grip around the younger boy's waist. Usually Chinen would laugh at his boyfriend's pointless worries, but instead freezes when he feels Takaki press his face against his hair. "Why didn't you tell Yuto that--"
"Why are you here?" Chinen demands, letting his bratty side taking over. He does nothing to return the hug, let alone Takaki's touch. Not even when Chinen is released from Takaki's arms and set securely on the ground. Chinen tries to avert the older boy's eyes, but it's no use when it comes to the soft touch that settles on his cheek and makes him look at him. "I thought you were with Kato-san."
Takaki sighs out of slight frustration, but knows that he shouldn't match Chinen's childish level. "Look, Chii, we just bumped into each other and started talking, that's all."
Upon hearing Takaki's explanation, Chinen feels relieved, but tries not to show it. Instead, he pretends to be mature about it and replies, "Alright, but why did you have to come here? It's not like I was worried or anything."
The sight of Chinen trying to look mature makes Takaki chuckle and pull the younger boy into a hug, smothering him in the process. "Because I know you better than anyone else and I know that you come here when something is bothering you. I may act dumb sometimes, but I could have guessed that you were jealous when I saw you run out of the cafe. I guess you forgot that the cafe has mirrored walls."
By then, Chinen is left speechless and very little reason to stay angry, especially when Takaki kisses him softly on the lips.
