runpunkrun and I were egging each other on for WIP Amnesty Day, but I jumped the gun early on that this year and am pretty much out of half-finished fics. I did find the stash of Supernatural RPS that's been gathering dust, and one of them, it turns out, was pretty close to done. This is just, mmm. How I wish there were more hours in the day, so you'd have time to write fic!

I especially loved Jared's stomach is smooth and shaking, rolling with shallow breaths like an oil slick on water. That's incredible imagery right there. Yum.

And this story -- it was so in need of an ending, and I just sat and sat and sat and then it was just there, all complete and Jared-y and guy-like. I'm glad it worked for you.

*happy sigh* Your Jensen is so perfect, so cool and in control on the surface, all the uncertainty ticking away beneath:

Jensen's reflection in the dim light looks calm and cool, like he's got any idea what the hell he's doing.

I love the imagery, too, those beautiful bits of connective tissue (Jared's hair casts shadows across his face like tall grass in front of a drive-in movie screen that make me squee as much as the story itself.

Oooh, thank you, yes. He's sure enough to keep following along, even move things forward a bit. But not enough to convince himself he's really sure.
