[ Since coming to the City he's been at the Koukakurou a few more times than he would really like to be reminded of. But then... Even if Miibu-san is a blatant friend of Muraki's that doesn't make Miibu-san bad... does it? Even if he is in l--no, don't even think about someone having feelings for someone like that monster. Clearly though, the owner ( Read more... )

[ Yuki-san had already sent word ahead, a signal to alert him he was going to have a visitor. With her having seen Tsuzuki bring him in on that abysmal curse day, she probably appreciated his help and that annoyed him all the more.

The man's coat, now washed and folded, was kept to a corner and he'd been confined to bed rest, though he still moved around, and hearing that voice, his eyes narrowed.

Him. The loathing was clear in his voice as he called, ]

Go away!

[ And of course, the maids in the hallway winced, but concealed their giggles effectively. Their Wakadanna could be a bit of a brat at times... ]

[ It wasn't just the maids that winced, Tsuzuki did little to hide the shrink back also as he gave a nervous kind of chuckle. Oriya was scary...]

I just... came to get my coat, that's all, I swear!

[ Ever so carefully, he slides open the door a little, poking his head around the frame ]

I'm not stopping, honest!

[ Of course, even that apologetic gesture gains no mercy from the proprietor. Already annoyed with the fact that he owes this man his life, he's holding the coat in his hands, and as the door opens, he slowly stands from the spread futon.

It probably happens far too fast for anyone to notice, but his arm is now outstretched, hand having flung the contents out-- and the object flying towards Tsuzuki's head is certainly no simple folded coat with the force it's flying at, and he smirks when he hears the 'thud' sound that signals his success. ]

Hn. Took your own time, Shinigami.

[ Why is everyone's aim so good?! He pouts heavily, rubbing his head and again exhibiting that kicked puppy expression as he rubs his forehead lightly. Has his coat got rocks in the pocket or something? ]

S-sorry... I would have come sooner, but I had some things I needed to see to and I figured that you'd need some time to rest so I didn't want to...

[ Uneasy rambling, yes he trails off as he notices he's doing that. Making excuses as well, since when did he have to excuse himself to Oriya, of all people?! He lowers his eyes then, blinking as he notices something in the folds of his coat. a little black wooden box? Is that some kind of unspoken gratitude on Oriya's part? He's... touched. Truly and it shows in his eyes and that smile. Damn, those eyes give away too much sometimes ]

Miibu-san...

[ Of course, he has no mercy for the Shinigami who he loathes, but with that thrown coat and his 'thanks' folded between it, he merely folds his arms, watching him with what is decidedly a death glare. The irony is amusing in itself, and he drums his fingers on his upper arm, raising an eyebrow to watch him as he rambles. ]

Excuses.

[ The proprietor's tone, however, is quieter, perhaps not holding =as= much loathing as it usually does, maybe his gaze is a little less sharper, and he makes a dismissive sound in his throat, waving his hand carelessly ]

Do you have everything you came for?

[ And a pointed sideways glare sent as a warning clearly says one thing. The answer is yes. Anything else and he dies. Again. ]

[ He stares at Oriya for a time, possibly something running through his mind as he's doing so. Something about Oriya's nature, his short and sharp manner. It reminds him of someone. ... Oh yeah, that's right. He knows exactly who it reminds him of but even Tsuzuki hasn't got a second death wish enough to say it out loud. It does make him smile to himself though, he just can't help it as he shakes his head. ]

Yes, I think so.

[ Again, he's not stupid enough to mention the little box but he's grateful, that much is blindingly, painfully obvious to see. How annoying that must seem, but he can't help it - it's just his way. He bows low at the waist, staying there with his head lowered as he speaks again. ]

Thank you, Miibu-san, for looking after my coat I mean and taking the time to see me again. I hope it helped a little at least and that you'll feeling better than before. Again, I'm really sorry for disturbing you while you're resting.

[ He's lucky Oriya hasn't had the chance to catch any sort of knowing on Tsuzuki's face, or even if he has, he's politely keeping quiet about it. Which is really big for Oriya to do, considering how selfish he is.

His expression remains stony, and as the other remains bowed, he walks forward. Waiting until he's done with his little spiel, he keeps his arms folded until Tsuzuki has straightened himself. Then, he looks down at him, a calm look on his face and smirk on his lips. ]

Leave before you turn things sour, Shinigami.

[ He could be saying not to overstay his welcome, but it's obvious he isn't if one cares to look closer into his words. He's telling him to enjoy the 'gift' he so generously gave him. ]

[ Ack--! When did Oriya suddenly get so close? It makes Tsuzuki jump a little, blinking a bit before looking partly confused, partly surprised. The initial feeling behind the words is to look a little nervous, but something makes him pause, rethink and then smile. He nods a little, closing his eyes happily. ]

I will, don't worry, Miibu-san. Thank you.

[ And with a short bow of his head he turns back toward the door, stepping out carefully and moving to slide it closed once more. That wasn't so bad~ Like getting a shot or something; there's always the panic before but after you wonder what all the fuss was about... This time, anyway. Tsuzuki knew better than to think of Oriya as anything less than terrifying. ]
