"As I look back on it some real good things could not have come about without drugs"

Whatever y'all did today was probibly alright. I got to watch George Clinton speak for an hour and a half. He talked about copyright, and how to protect it, and why it's good to sample. He talked of doo wop beginings, motown influenced directions, and the final jimi hendrix, james brown, and sly and the family stone end product some of us who should be more indie snobbish have come to know and love. He coughed every now and then, and his voice was raspy, but warm. His dreds are smaller, and it saddens me, but he's doing alright. He had 3 amazing quotes, I can't place 2 of them, but he did say, "whatever music parents are scared of, that's what I listen to". He was great, as the interviewer up with him smiled his big fake smile toward the crowd, and let out a few barks whenever people would shout out at him. George Clinton is the shit, I wish all people should age so gracefully, no wrinkles on his arms for being 63. His attitude light, and sharp when it came to remembering stuff he did even a few years ago. This man is the shit, and you all need to do yourself a favor and check out Parlamient, Funkadelic, George Clinton, and everything with his name on it
