[ACTION: Logan takes a step and nearly falls down. Something is distinctly different. Well, that's what happens when you lose hundreds of pounds of adamantium in seconds. Nevermind that. There was a bad girl to find.]
Well. Ain't that a kick in the head. Hey, Julia? Y'all right?
georgie,
curse,

But then she's just there and bracing herself with a hand on the nearest wall, and looking over at Logan, she moves her sunglasses up and onto the top of her head.]
Yeah, I'm fine.
...are you?
Reply
Yeah.
[Logan lifts his head and smells the air.]
Heh, this place is the same.
Reply
He's the one who knows George. She's the assist.]
It doesn't seem any different at all.
[It'd almost be enough to be unnerving, but... at least everyone has the same home territory advantage.]
Where are we most likely to find your friend?
Reply
Likely the underground. We better stick close. You armed?
[He set a steady pace, she'd follow right? Nick wouldn't be sending along somebody he didn't think was capable of the job.]
Reply
I never leave home any other way, Logan.
[One-hundred percent secure that she can have a gun out in a matter of seconds if she needs it before they get to the underground, she falls into step with him. Once they get closer to where he thinks their target will be, she can fall back if she needs to.]

Here goes nothin' [mostly over his shoulder to Julia, this felt something like an old fashion showdown in a saloon.]

Go for it.
[This is as alert as she gets, although she still doesn't draw any of her weapons yet. She's following his lead, and she's expecting to be able to read him when they've actually found George.]

Hank would say something like, "Oh my stars and garters."]
Hey, Georgie.

The atmosphere in here is exactly the kind of thing she's used to, and as she joins the crowd around the pool table, she can't help thinking the woman Logan calls Georgie is exactly the kind of woman -- in this version of the city, at least -- that she could've run in similar circles with outside of this place.
She positions herself at an angle from them, her hands on her hips, but her eyes don't leave either of them.]

Hey, baby. Was wondering when you would be joining me.
[Her grip on the pool stick was tight as she waited to see if he was going to be friendly or hostile. She was hoping the amount of leg she was showing would help sway the matter.]

Sorry to cut the party short but we need to get going.

She bides her time, prowling halfway across the table and wedging herself between people so she's given a clear view of the two of them. In spite of her craving for one, she doesn't go so far as to pull out a cigarette.]
Reply
Get going where? Home, maybe? That would be nice.
[Stepping into his personal space and reaching out to wrap an arm around his neck. If she couldn't make him show some appreciation she was going to be quite unhappy. All that waiting for nothing?]

[It was hard to be so stoic with her dressed like that and so close. There was cigarette smoke in her hair and--she had company earlier. I guess that's what happens when you see a man named Dick.]
I'm headin' that way, darlin'. [He lightly unfolded his arms and rest his hands on her hips and looked into her face. Georgie his Georgie was in there somewhere.]
