[For once, Shing is in a rather wistful mood today -- he's pretty much collapsed on a chair in the shared apartment, sighing and smiling sadly at something...
Turns out said something is a snowglobe, the inside of which contains a replica of a small fishing village. It's of his hometown, Seable.
Another sigh.]
...well, I can't say that I don't appreciate the reminder of home. The deities even got the shores and the odd few boats in the dock right! And... also my mom's grave, too.
[A wistful sigh as he continues to look at the snowglobe, idly cradling it in his hands every now and again.]
...honestly, I kinda wanted to see Norquin in there, too.
Or even better... I want the real thing. To be able to go back home again... of course, that could still be a while, wouldn't it?
[A muffled, almost sad laugh as he stares at the snow globe a little more.]
...I like it, though. I wonder if the deities will allow us to keep it?
