[There's a pause as he reaches out for something -- or perhaps someone.]

[...but having been here this long, though, Shing knows better. If anyone were watching where Shing's gaze is, all they can see is empty air.]

...you're not real, are you.
[No one but Shing can see the ghost in front of him -- that of Kohaku -- shake her head no, and she smiles sadly. There's a shake of Shing's head as he returns that sad smile. He looks about ready to cry.]
Au... I... I miss you, you know. And Hisui, too... and everyone... au. But I can't be just... falling apart like this. I have to be the strong one, don't I...?
[Again, the ghost smiles sadly before making a motion akin to hugging the boy. He closes his eyes, sighing before he starts to sniffle a bit.]
Mmmn... this city's so cruel, doing this, and I don't know, but...

[More sniffling can be heard from him as he tries to keep it together -- now would be a good time to bother him, you know. o/]
