Appearance: Crona Ragnarok

Abilities: Crona is a Meister but he's a very special one. While he has the usual powers of a Meister (ability to see souls (Soul Perception), use his soul wavelength, and wield weapons) Crona has a few special skills of his own. His Weapon, Ragnarok, is part of him, his blood in fact. It's always inside of him, always ready to attack...or torture Crona. Ragnarok and Crona also have other tricks up their sleeve. He also has his own form of soul resonance called Scream Resonance

Screech Alpha: Same as the Screech Beta but launch at the enemy as a projectile with explosive results.
Screech Beta: A powerful slash in the form of a mouth
Screech Gamma: A multi-slashing attack that release sound waves in succession.
Black Dragon: A soul resonance when Ragnarok will absorb all human soul eggs and morph into a dragon-form. All of Crona's attacks are enhanced.
Bloody Needles: This attack can only be preformed when Crona's blood has been spilled, transforming it into black needles that stab through the opponent if they get too close.
Bloody Slicer: Crona will cut his own wrist and then make a flinging motion with the arm, when this happens Ragnarok will change the blood into a blade for medium ranged attacks.

He can also harden his blood into a shield that protects him from being cut through. In danger he also can form bloody wings. While Ragnarok is in his dragon form and when Crona makes bloody wings he can fly.

Ragnarok is a separate being from Crona although he is also his blood. Ragnarok is crude, mean, demanding, and selfish. He constantly picks on and belittles Crona. Before breaking free from Medusa and coming to the DWMA Ragnarok was far larger and stronger than Crona himself, and would physically abuse Crona constantly. Ragnarok depends on Crona (and Crona on Ragnarok) but he is a separate personality.

Personality:

Crona is a very sad case. He's meek and sad, extremely prone to loneliness. As a child his spirit was broken through routine abuse, he expects nothing more from life. He never knew what friends were, never understood love, never knew anything more than pain, emotional and physical. He learned to accept it.

Crona doesn't trust most people, not in a traditional sense. He listens to people if they will hurt him if he doesn't, like a lab animal. It's learned helplessness in a lot of ways. There is only one person he actually trusts, and that's Maka. She's his only friend. Before meeting her he didn't even understand what friendship was supposed to be. Maka has shown him kindness and love, the first he's ever encountered and it confuses him (even scares him in many ways.) But Crona would follow Maka to Hell and back.

Crona is very quiet and locks himself off from the world. He won't speak unless spoken to and even then it's hard to get him into conversation without forcing him. He is a closely guarded person and has only just started allowing his true self to shine through and to open up more.

Truly Crona is brave, but it's almost been conditioned out of him. He has no choice but to obey Medusa, his mother (more in history) but he doesn't want to. He's very loyal to his friends, the few that he has managed to make (with Maka's help.) He is selfless in many ways as well, as far as his friends are concerned. His own life means nothing compared to his friends. Although that in part might be due to his distressingly low self esteem (which is in no way helped by Ragnarok.)

History:

Crona is the child of the feared witch Medusa. It's unknown who Crona's father was or what Medusa did with the poor man when she was done with him but Crona became her pet project. Far from a loving mother Medusa removed all of her son's blood when he was a toddler and replaced it with Black Blood, essentially a melted down weapon that now flows through Crona's veins, bursting out of him to be used in combat (or whenever Ragnarok feels like making a snide remark or beating Crona.)

After that Crona became Medusa's slave, or so she expected. She began training him to become a Kishin, teaching him to kill and destroy and eat souls. Crona, being only a small child, was afraid of the tasks Medusa set up for him (typically the animals she sent him to slaughter had teeth and claws and a desire to stay alive.) When Crona was unable to complete the tasks he was locked in a small windowless room for hours where he was starved and beaten by Ragnarok. Whenever Crona failed to do exactly as Medusa wished he met this or a similarly ghastly fate. Eventually the battered and starving Crona went along with Medusa, burying his sensitive nature, fear, and desires underneath the surface. He denied everything about himself until his soul dried up and resembled a desert.

For years he followed Medusa's orders, training with Ragnarok to become a fighting force to be reckoned with. Ragnarok consumed the souls of the innocent and soon Medusa's plan would be complete. She'd have her own pet Kishin. That is, until Maka Albarn got in the way.

Although their first encounter ended with Soul, Maka's partner, being nearly fatally injured, during their second fight Maka was able to see Crona's true personality and was able to touch his soul. She brought Crona out of his shell and was able to get him into the DWMA. They met in Rome, while Maka and Soul were getting rid of some Kishins in the area. Crona and Ragnarok were there for far darker reasons. Maka sensed the soul of another Meister and Weapon using her Soul Perception powers along with the souls of many regular humans. A few things were odd, first the Weapon and Meister were connected, one and the same, and the second was an unnerving revelation. Almost instantly the human souls were gone. When Maka and Soul infiltrated the church where Maka sensed the souls they found only a single scrawny boy, Crona. Soon Crona's true powers became clear when Ragnarok burst out of Crona's back morphing into his Demon Sword form.

Maka and Soul were outmatched. After a brief fight a seemingly possessed Crona went to deal the final blow and kill Maka. However, Soul got in the way. Really it didn't matter who Crona attacked, Medusa got what she wanted. Soul survived (barely) and, as a consequence of the attack, got some of Crona's black blood in him. This blood would twist and madden Soul and eventually Maka over time, causing them (especially Maka) to give into their most dangerous urges. Thanks to the Black Blood Maka nearly lost her mind.

In Rome, after being defeated by Professor Stein and Maka's father, Spirit, Crona disappeared with Medusa. He was woven into Medusa's plans so it was only a matter of time before Crona crossed paths with the DWMA again. He fought Maka and Soul again when Medusa enacted her plan to resurrect Asura, the first Kishin. Although it was not meant to be her fight Maka decided that her personal grudge against Crona could not wait any longer. With no victory in sight Maka embraced the madness growing inside of her (thanks to the Black Blood) however while her body and consciousness was lost to it her subconscious was able to connect with Crona's.

In his mind, Crona was still a child. He locked himself off from the world, ignoring even his own subconscious attempts to open up. Maka was able to reach him and free him from this self-made cage. Maka managed to accidentally perform an extremely complex purification freeing herself from the Black Blood and causing Crona to get the upper hand on Ragnarok (who shrunk substantially in size.) Although Asura was freed from his prison Medusa was defeated and seemingly killed by Stein, Crona was abandoned by Medusa's cronies and left in the hands of the DWMA. For some time his fate was up in the air while he remained locked in a cell. Would he be killed? Imprisoned? Banished? Or...

Maka's persuading and Crona's compliance earned Crona a scholarship (of sorts) to the DWMA. He became a student, and, also with Maka's help, began to unwind. He also made friends with Death the Kid (the son of the Grim Reaper), Patti and Liz Thompson (Kid's weapons), Soul, Black*Star (another Meister), and Tsubaki (Black*Star's weapon.) Things were finally looking up in Crona's life.

But it didn't last.

Medusa was not truly dead. She was able to lodge her soul in the body of a young girl named Rachel and picked up where she left off. She claimed dominance over Crona again and forced the boy to act as a spy for his mother. On her instructions Crona placed a spell inside of Stein to accelerate the progress of his madness as well as a listening device inside Miss Marie (Stein's current Weapon.) Horrified by his own actions and unable to face Maka and his other friends in his guilt Crona ran away from the DWMA, attempting instead to weather the desert surrounding Death City.

It's here I'll be taking Crona from.

First Person Sample:

[Audio Feed]

[Thump]

Oh no, oh no...where am I now? I don't think I can deal with being lost like this! I'm not even in the desert anymore!

[There is a ripping sound and then a second voice, higher pitched and mocking joins in]

Only an idiot like you could get lost running away! Where did you strand us, you moron!

[There is the soft smack of fist on skin, and there it is again, and again and again until the first voice comes back]

Hey! Quit it! I don't know where we are...

[Then it slows down, as the speaker begins to process what's going on]

I must have passed out or something but then...

Did you kill us!?! Is this where dead people go!?! If you killed us I'm going to kill you!

Ow!

[Now the first voice sounds slightly muffled and tight, as if the speaker if forcing it through lips pressed together]

If we're dead you can't kill me.

Wise guy, huh?

No, Ragnarok, stop it! We're not dead! I...just...

[A long pause]

You just what? Finish your sentence, stupid!

[A sound like a coconut hitting the ground]

Ow! Sorry, I just look.

[A pause]

Is that a camera? Or a phone?

M-maybe we're being spied on. I don't think I can deal with being spied on.

Third Person Sample:

Crona cast one last look at Death City. He didn't belong there, he didn't deserve to there. His heart sunk deeper in his chest, falling through to his stomach. He had been happy there, happy for the first time in his life. He only realized this now, as he felt the happiness drain completely away. He didn't know what happiness was before now, now that he could no longer feel it. But at least he could take some solace in the fact that Maka was safe now. He could no longer hurt her or any of the others. At least THEY were safe.

But for how long? Thanks to him Stein's madness was accelerated and Miss Marie was literally a radio for Lady Medusa. There was no escape for them, and no escape for Crona.

Notes: So it'll be Crona and Ragnarok, since the two sort of come together. Also, playing him as a dude.
