"Cabin Fever!"
I NEED TO GO OUTSIDE MORE.
I had a bad freakout yesterday morning and canceled all my plans in SF for the day, and stayed in, studied, and had weird dreams, as noted. The Fear and the Guilt have kicked in, where I feel like I can't go have fun on weekends because I need to be studying. (I'm not even studying enough. Argh. That's not guilt speaking, that's "I didn't do 2/3rds of the homework we were assigned today.")
But if the only bit of outdoors that I see all summer is the same old 5K jogging route through suburbia around my house, I'm going to go crazy. So I need your suggestions. I am not going to Yosemite anytime soon, or even Mount Tam, but I would like some suggestions for places to go within an hour's drive of Fremont. I have some places I love already - the redwood grove nestled along 92, San Gregorio Beach, Santa Cruz - and I want to climb Mission Peak some weekend, but I want other suggestions. And volunteers to go with me, because going hiking alone and falling off a rock and getting eaten by mountain lions while unconscious would really interfere with Bar/Bri.
Oh yeah, and I better get out there soon because the Governator is planning to close 80% of the state parks. (Including Henry Coe, kushderuh.)
