I'm chairing the Academic Progress and Graduation committee for AACRAO for 2009-2010, and the 96th Annual Meeting is in New Orleans on April 21-24, 2010. That's Wednesday to Saturday. I'll probably try to get there Tuesday and leave Sunday or Monday since...
That's the first weekend of The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

I've never been to New Orleans, and I've always wanted to go to Jazz Fest. I'm giddy like a school girl.
So mark it down, those of you in or around the New Orleans area. It's a year away but pencil it in. Good Times ahead!
