Sex in the City
One thing I just don't get is why anyone is even remotely excited / intrigued / even considering going to see this movie. Yes, I am a man, which means I *totally* don't get the show. Isn't is supposed to be a show about how being an empowered woman just means that you can sleep with whomever you want and buy ridiculously expensive shoes.
But isn't it from ten years ago or so? And aren't all of them married (on the show) and don't all of them have kids (on the show)? And isn't one of them a lesbian hooker? Isn't that the big reveal at the end?
Anyway, I've never understood the phenomenon, although I credit the show for me being called a "gay straight man" which apparently means I like to have sex with women but otherwise I use products like Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (which is true...it's one of the only moisturizers that doesn't make my face break out...it's probably tested on animals or something horrible like that). But I guess I fail that test currently because I couldn't give two shits about that show.
Which is strange because my ass continues to be in a "shit-giving" mood. Seriously, I've lost 7 pounds since this weekend. That ain't right!
