Homework and pink champagne.

Technically, it's just sparkling wine, but that's not nearly as fun to say.

Anyway, today has been crazy and crazy good. We went to Bailey's baptism and then to the party afterwards, then to the grocery store, then home for dinner, then the Drew night-time routine, and now Seaves is preparing meals for this week in the kitchen while I type this. We just opened the bottle of champagne (It went like this:
Seaves: "Can you get the champagne out of the freezer?"
Me: "Are we drinking the champagne tonight?"
Seaves: "Can you think of a reason why we shouldn't?"
Me: "I'm not even going to try to think of a reason why we shouldn't."
Chilled champagne bottle: *pop* )

and I'm about to read two chapters for my class while I drink some. We're listening to my iPod on the new surround sound...can I mention how much I love having speakers that work? It isn't a great system or anything (it's just an inexpensive Sony) but the fact that all of the speakers work is in direct contrast to our previous stereo that we got from Claire's Dad for our wedding. It's honestly like hearing music for the first time. I can't say this enough.

I'm off for some bubbly. Happy Sunday evening.

good times, ipod, graduate school, reading, baptisms, music
