So they did a biopsy on my arm yesterday. It looks like someone took a hole-punch to my forearm. It was chemically cauterized, a phrase I hope to never have to use again when referring to part of my body. They still don't know what the hell it is, but they put me on steroids now, an oral and a topical. (Me: "Is it the cream or the clear?" My doctor: "Huh?") So we'll see what happens. I also got a refill on my elephant sedative antihistamine. That stuff works great.
Anyway, because Shacid complained so much the last time I posted pictures without an lj cut, here it is:
We took Drew to the doctor this morning. He doesn't have strep but his throat is pretty torn up. It's a mixed blessing, actually. If it were strep we could start him on antibiotics and we'd know he would be better in a couple of days. Since it isn't, we just have to keep treating the symptoms and trying to keep him happy. It's good that we have five days before we have to go back to work, though.
Also, I got some work done on my bike yesterday. New brake pads, a new chain and cassette, and a new rear derailer (or derailleur, if you speak French). Hunter, the guy down at Evergreen Bikes took care of me right after work. He's a nice guy. I'm trying to patronize him as much as possible, since it's really convenient to have a bike shop located where he is (on my way to and from work).
Drew's down for a nap right now, so I should go try to rest some, too. Nobody slept very much last night because Mr. Man was up crying a lot. Poor little guy!
