New Rules for College Football Fans

New Rule: Yes, Notre Dame is different. Get over it. If your school were important enough to get its own NBC contract and thumb its nose at conference affiliation, do you really think it would decline?

Very few people actually understand that conference football is socialism.

LOL. I'm kindof a socialist (so was Jesus) so I don't think that's a bad thing. What I don't want to do is keep playing the same damn shitty teams year in and year out just because "we're in the same conference."

The revenue sharing wouldn't be terrible, but the scheduling limitations are unacceptable.

I'm just saying. People criticize ND for being greedy, but most of those same people in every other domain of their life behave like capitalist pigs. At least show some consistency.

People criticize ND because they're jealous. :-)

As a Buckeye fan and lover of all things Big Ten, I wouldn't mind seeing Notre Dame in our conference. I'm glad you aren't this year, though. It would be a little rough with Texas, Penn State, Iowa, Michigan AND Notre Dame all in regular season. We'll save you until the National Championship game at the end of the year.

That Maurice Clarett thing sure sucks, huh?

Maurice who?

It's hard what to think about him. One the one hand, he was an amazing freshman running back who basically won a National Championship for us. On the other hand, something is obviously wrong with the man. I feel sorry for him and I hope that he will be able to get his act together one day.

I always thought that was an Old Rule.

It's one of the Original Rules, but it bears repeating.
