1. If you can only hear one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? Tough, tough question. Probably Dylan's "Boots of Spanish Leather." Would I get irritated by his voice after 13048608435 listens? Possibly. But I can't think of anything better right now.
2. What one song would you like to be played on your funeral? Okkervil River, "John Allyn Smith Sails"
3. What one song that is best to describe your feeling right now? Born Ruffians, "Kurt Vonnegut"
4. What one song would you like to hear when you're sad and depressed? Ryan Adams, "In My Time of Need"
5. What one song that you wished you have written? Bob Dylan, "Desolation Row"

In other news, Struppie bucked me off today. It only took him 3 years to get the job done. Bet he wasn't expecting me to land on my feet, immediately get back on, and finish the workout, though. Tough luck for him. I'm fine physically, but a little shaken mentally, as the last time I fell was January '03, I think. When Dad gets home in a couple of hours, I'll ride him again. Also, Glove Tan 2009 is out in full force. Gross. I need to stick my hands inside a tanning booth or something. Not to mention my pasty, pasty legs.

Obligatory Michael Jackson reference: I'm quite bummed, really, and very aware of his contributions to music. But I think Heath Ledger's death saddened me more. With Jackson, the sadness is somehow tempered by slight relief that a troubled soul can now rest.

I have to write a short article for the Trinity magazine by Wednesday, so I'm going to go research that now so as to refrain from completely wasting my computer time.
