00. 2012: looking back
I was really too lazy to do all this but I can't sleep and stuff so. yep. includes babbling who's surprised no one I know. also idk why I thought commenting my own ~work at 6am was a good idea but I did it anyway. I'm all up for feedback if you have any, if there's a style/month/icon you like/want to comment on good/bad I'll take it! there's a new batch of december stuff coming in the week.

random month idk I think I wasn't really inspired at that time and I had tons of requests to make and it turned out mostly terrible

aaaaa forever proud of those bright star icons!! really worked on compositions this time, lots of blending.

worked on coloring a lot and started cutting out silhouettes JUST FOR FUN and I still do and I love it and it's weird and idk why I like doing it

aaaa trying out tunaeverynight's coloring for a round was sooo fun and I love it and a lot of what I tried then stayed with me for the rest of the year and even now. also fell in love with sharpenning and decided that I'd sharpen the hell out of everything yes

ha that's around the time I started making more tumblr sized stuff and just cropped the bigger graphics. literally 3/4 of them are tumblr graphics sigh

see, lighting, that really stayed with me. I loved working so much with lighting and it shows no shit

I got into the west wing and all hope was lost because THOSE FUCKING CAPS ARE THE WORST. I spent the whole month working with negative space-compositions and cutting out silhouettes because I like to annoy myself

WONT EVEN COMMENT ON THE FACT THAT THESE ARE ALL THE HOUR........ I got cs6 and all hail vibrance. it's also so much easier to use paint brushes on cs6 so I did (still do) A LOT of that (that lix icon god I look so lazy not even smoothing out the paint brushes but it looked so good like that)
