00. best of 2011 in icons
I saw a few people doing that and what the hell! I think it was my best iconning year so at least I'll have some kind of archive of that somewhere! also, tiny teaser from my next batch I need to finish before the new year!

teaser is all doctor who cause lol major fandom or what XD
JANUARY: actually starting to work on coloring +start using lights. idk how I got into any comm with these tbh
FEBRUARY: icon strike (when ps saw the shit I made, it ate it all)
MARCH: actually coloring properly +working on compositions! lights are starting to be what they're now (keyword: starting)
APRIL: space vacation (I lost the pictures)
MAY: NOW WE'RE TALKING! first entry for 20insp! and apparently I was very inspired (wtf with these 100+ icon posts self). and the doctor's wife aired. and I tentatively tried compositions. but like. /tentatively/.
JUNE: second batch for 20insp. eh.
JULY: SUPER INSPIRED AGAIN idk what's up with that. and look, THE ICON THAT MADE ME FAMOUS~ lol jk still rly proud of it tho :3 so much doctor who lol oh god. and apparently, I was pretty much a text-virgin until then! already a rory fangirl tho. and still tentatively trying out compositions and textures
AUGUST: first actual real 20insp claim I'm proud of :') ALL THE RORY ICONS!!!1!! I think that's basically when shit got real lol. btw, nice to see you again, blocking.
SEPTEMBER: I think this batch is my favourite this year. SO MANY FANDOMS AND PRETTY ICONS IF I MAY SAY SO MYSELF :3 and so much more work on compositions lol also, yay for lights and colorings!
OCTOBER: ooooh :') my pond claim! (lol I'm actually getting nostalgic over these, jeez) so much doctor who always all the time dear god how do you not tell me to just stop? THERE ARE OTHER FANDOMS YOU KNOW GPAGES SHEESH
NOVEMBER: trying close crops and still working on cropping in general. yay for battles, with sky_magenta and with awesome peeps thanks to marcasite :3
DECEMBER: qaf obsession month lol #noshame the caps were crap but it boosted my creativity like crazy. much more conscious of the fact that cropping can make a whole composition if that makes sense, much more effort put in complex~ icons and using several images for one icon. and ofc, awesome battle with innocent_lexys :3 +teaser for the next batch :D
