There are many translation communities on LJ, but after some digging, I've decided that this will probably be the one that best suits my needs.
I have an Ouran High School Host Club fanfic that has been a work-in-progress for some time now. I come to you lovely people today to ask for some very simple assistance with translation.
The fic is Tamaki/Kyouya-centric (so one must be okay with M/M pairings) and I don't need or desire for the entire fic to be translated (for now - especially as I am still re-working it).
What I am looking for is a (preferably native) French speaker to proofread the French bits I put into the story. I took several years of French in school but that was...a very long time ago (LOL) and I want to make sure I'm getting all of my conjugations and wording correct.
It would be an on-going thing, but very intermittent: just occasional emails when I've got more work done. However, it will only amount to maybe a page-worth of sentences in total, so don't feel like you'll be signing up for months of hard labour! Still, I thought it made more sense to ask for something like this, rather than making dozens of posts each time I've got new sentences. I suppose, too, I could have just waited until I was finished, but I tend to edit as I go.
