The DA is a Democrat, as I thought. Damn, I wish he was a Republican, though. Between this and Katrina, if we can just keep it alive until the midterm elections, we might actually get some ground back!
This is complete heresy, but is it just me or should Cindy Sheehan just be quiet for a moment and let the nation bask in the solemn beauty of GOP incompetence and this recent indictment? Because personally I think she's very distracting. The nation kind of doesn't care about the war at this point. I suppose it's not good to think in terms of campaign strategy rather than in terms of actual issues with substance, but secretly I always sort of wanted to be a PR person. I think it would be fun, in an evil sort of way.
