1 ) What do we plan to do?

First, we plan to compile all your submissions and translate any messages into Japanese. A layout will be designed and the draft for the book will be edited and proofread.
Then, we will send this layout to our contact in Japan for printing. The printed book will then be mailed to Shueisha.
Anyone interested in procuring a copy for themselves will be addressed afterward.

2) What can you submit?

Anything. Fanart, encouraging messages, pictures of your cosplay, crafts, KnB-themed cakes, KnB goods collections or you and your friends holding up a “We Love Kuroko” poster provided you follow our Submission Rules.
Traditional fanart and handwritten messages are welcome, but they should be scanned and emailed either way

3) Are there any size/format specifications for images?

Yes, since we’re printing and publishing these artworks and photos, specifications are:
  • minimum paper size: A5
  • maximum paper size: A4
  • minimum resolution: 150 dpi (in this case paper size should be A4)
  • maximum resolution: 300 dpi
  • file format: JPG, PNG

(*)in case your file is too heavy to be sent over the internet, graphic softwares such as Photoshop and similars can help you reduce the size without losing much quality.

4) Can I submit anonymously?

You are welcome to submit anonymously. You are also allowed to submit more than once, and in more than one category (example: message fanart photo).

5) I am going to write in English. Is my text going to be replaced by the Japanese translation?

We will not be replacing the text of your art or message into Japanese. We will simply have the translation beside the original and place a little flag of country where the submission came from. This is not mandatory but it will look cute.

6) When is the deadline?

All submissions must be mailed by December 1. We will hopefully send the printed book around January.
