we start to move/and we break the glass

Before I left tonight I sprayed a bunch of Fekkai wave definer in my hair and now I feel like my hair is taking up the entire dorm room with how big it is.

Tonight was pretty fun. Sam and I walked over to Sarah's ultra sweet apartment on Neville (Sarah lived on our floor last year) and had pizza and watched the news, and then we went to the HKAN and got a pretty decent jasmine/vanilla hookah and just basically caught up on what's been going on since we saw each other last in April. She didn't even blame me when we were waiting for the bus and they (Sam and Sarah) were sitting on the rail thing and I had my back to the street and some crazy guy was shouting for us to 'come to his crib', which Sarah and Sam attributed to my junk in the trunk, as Lacey would say. And then all I could think of for the rest of tonight was Dave Chappelle saying 'I hope all y'all at home are making that ass clap-clap, clap-clap!'

So we got back to the dorm, and I decided that I wanted to make soup. The microwave kept making weird noises so I was peering into it saying 'Is my soup exploding?' and Sam would say 'I don't know, does it look like it's exploding?' and I would say 'I don't know'. And then I took the soup out of the microwave and a box of evil evil popcorn fell off of my desk shelf and startled me and I spilled soup everywhere (though not, thank God, on the Tosh). Then Sam decided to go to bed, and then the elevator bell started ringing. And ringing. And ringing. And I thought, we haven't had a fire alarm yet, maybe that's what this is, so I got up from my conversations with Katherine and Pat to go out into the hall and investigate, where I met a bunch of my floor buddies and we decided that it was just some people stuck in the elevator. But the ringing still hadn't stopped! Usually it just rings for like 5 seconds, but it had been ringing continuously for at least 3 minutes. It's quite loud, too. I went back to my computer and IMed Whitney, who lives on the south side on the 3rd floor. I said, can you hear that? and she said hear what? and I said that elevator bell, and she said let me open my door...oh yeah, I can hear that! that's loud! and I said yeah, that's right outside my door. and Whitney, sensitive soul, said AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...that sucks. It stopped after awhile though.

20 in a week! And Katherine might be coming back for the festivities :)
