bcbern163: I'm glad I left my door open so everyone can watch me look at facebook and eat Combos

Today seemed really long. I woke up and studied for Spanish (read: sent text messages to Bryce) and then went to Spanish where we discussed important issues such as whether Christian Bale is hotter than Brad Pitt. No, I'm not kidding. And Christian Bale definitely wins. I think Katherine will agree with me on this. After that I met Bryce for lunch which took about an hour and a half as it always does with us. Then I laid on my bed and watched Fantasia instead of going to Psych. Then I went to work.

Today was my first day at the new store. I now work for the Starbucks at the intersection of Forbes and Craig, and let me tell you; it's so weird to be in a different store. This store is 500x more laidback than Cranberry, which is wonderful but so hard to get used to. We washed about 1/4th of as much of the equipment as we do at Cranberry at the end of the night, and people actually STAND AROUND instead of running around like a crazy person their entire shift. It was kind of refreshing to know that not everyone in that company has a pitcher of frap mix up their ass. Also, I work with a guy named Sonnet. No last name, not even on the official papers. Who looks like Willem Dafoe. All in all, it should be pretty interesting. Sam came in between her meetings at Hillel to give me moral support (she says she was studying but we all know that's a big lie) and witnessed my biggest issue of the day when I had about 6 drinks on the bar and a lady came back for the 3rd time to complain that her double tall latte didn't taste right. And I had made it perfectly each time. It's a good thing the shift manager happened to be right there b/c my cool demeanor was about ready to crack. Sam said I looked normal though, which I consider pretty amazing.

I guess it'll be nice to have income again as opposed to just spending all of the money I made over the summer. Plus I don't have to pay for car insurance. Yesss.

Lizzie, thanks for coming down this weekend! You'd better have lots of pictures from Homecoming for me :)
