Have you had enough? ...marketing your online business and trying to get good seats in search engines?
Well, you have no idea how much the internet is worth surfing and trying for. All you need is time and lots and lots of it... plus a little artistry would be great as well.
Here are practical tips that I've come up with:
1. Guestbooks - always sign up whenever there is one and bring the name of your biz
2. participate in online discussions and blogs
3. email newsletter
4. writing and submitting articles
5. teleclasses
5. live chats or webinars permits you to be a public speaker without
the time and expense of travel, and speak to national or global audiences.
6. sweepstakes
7. make your own company blog
8. Create your own link exchange by asking sites complementary to yours
9. Web affiliates
10. online survey/polls - ask the opinions of your customers of what should be improved
11. web awards
12. polls - join them
13. messageboards, chatrooms, forums added to website - link it directly or attached it in your website
14. testimonials - create something that the site will choose for post up
15. cross-promotional package/deal with another company
16. community colleges - young people are the most risk-taker of all, they'll try everything
17. weblogs directories - submit your blog
These are alternatives to the traditional and common way of marketing your business which ia advertising. This is FREE yet powerful. Constant checking, updating and posting would be necessary.
But that's the best part, you can constantly monitor your traffic and can personally cater to your customers.
What more can you complain for? After all the best things in life are free.
