(no subject)
Mike D got attacked downtown Friday night. He's got 5 stitches over his right eyebrow and two staples on the backside of his head. They took his wallet and cell phone. I went to see him today and he looks a lot better than i thought, although he seemed to be a bit out of it.
Next week is Mars Volta. i'm excited.
Mushrooms last night were Ok. not the greatest but still good.
I need to start working on my solo stuff again and get that out. i've been creatively antsy again.
i think i'm going to go back to school part time next year to get a taste and further things along. more math classes to be sure adn maybe a few communications classes to wet my palate for the year after.
so what should i do? this is the question i've been asking as of late. i want to study Philosophy, Poli Sci, Communications, religion and math/physics.... oh and some art for good measure. can i major in being a renaissance man? maybe a professional student? i have a love/hate relationship with philosophy. Poli sci makes me depressed and angry (but in a good way??). Communications is fun for debate. religion and math theory are just plain interesting to me, although i don't plan on doing anything proffessional with with them, like say be a priest or a rocket scientist.
PJ harvey, Morrissey, and my Bloody Valentine are putting out new albums in the next month. Trail of Dead and Sleater Kinney are working on a new album. i'm stoked about all of this.
Rachel might leave to london. i'm not happy about that.
