So, for *NO* reason at all other than I'm awesome, I was thinking the other day about this show I saw in the 80's. I couldn't remember the name, but it made an impression.
Google helped me out. I the era of Airwolf, Knight Rider and Automan (seriously,
check out the awesome), this show was born from the inimitable forehead of Glen A Larson, progenitor of Galactica.
It was halfway between Mad Max and Blue Thunder, featuring a semi-post-apocalyptic world where "Highwaymen" patrolled the road in giant semis which had helicopters in the back that would spring forth on demand.
The cast was unremarkable, except for
Jacko. Who was made entirely of superballs and australian-flavored pomp. Extra points if you remember those ads, though they may be fail points, I'm not sure.
So, Highwayman....
