it is nearly nine o'clock in the morning and i have not slept yet. try as i might, the sleep evades me. i drove to mcdonalds at ate and eight breakfast. after that came the haverhill stadium and cigarettes and 'the elephant vanishes'. i figured that last part might sound odd without quotations. instead of quitting smoking, i've decided that i am going to stop playing with my lip rings. fair compromise? i thought so.
