(no subject)
I have been dragging big time today. I have been so exhausted this week. I have been off work for two days and I guess that everything is just catching up to me. I came home today and just crashed for a few hours, which was nice. Tomorrow though, it's back to work. I'm from 4 til 9, then Justin and I are going out to the movies!! I love dates with Justin..he's amazing! He's definately one of my very best friends and it's so nice to have a good friend of the opposite sex who isn't always trying to get in your pants or hit on you, but is there to get opinions and advice from. I definately have so much fun when I'm with him. We're so funny together. He's such a nice and decent boy...so hard to find those..especially around Hamilton!
Yesterday went by pretty well. I finally got into my councilor. We talked about my credits and she said that if I stay on track this year I will be absolutely find credit wise. I will have more than enough credits to graduate, but the trick is that there are certain ones that I HAVE TO HAVE, so I have to stay on top of things in those classes..as well as the rest. I'm very happy though because I've started out great and I really think I'm more focused this year. Last year was just such a strange year for me..lots of stuff going on, but things are infinately more better now. Plus, I just have to get through this year and then I'm off to college, which is something I absolutely can't wait for! I'm still undecided of both where I want to go, and what I want to do, but things will come together. Here are the places that I'm considering as of right now:
1.)Berea College
2.)Campbellsville
3.)Ball State
4.)Miami
I'm sure things will change and that list will get smaller or larger, but for right now those are the places that I'm going to send applications. I'm really enjoying college life planning because that class puts so many things in perspective. I've already learned so much by just being in there these first few days of school. I know I definately have to get apps. sent out soon so I can have early chances of getting into schools.
I've also set some goals for this year and I need all the accountability from my friends that I can get..KEEP ME ACCOUNTIBLE!!!
1.)Perfect Attendence
2.)More regular church attendence
3.)By the end of this year I want to be able to give my testimonial without feeling guilty about things I've done in the past
4.)If I start dating someone, then I want it to serve a purpose, not just dating to date...I'm so done with this type of dating..it's pointless and leads to situations that aren't great
5.)Start saving money better. It's hard because I buy everything I need for myself, but I need to start saving for senior pictures, college apps, another round of ACT's, and college in general.
6.)Become a better student and keep on a regular routine of good study habits, as well as good grades to boost my GPA.
That's it as of right now. Hopefully all these goals are attainable for me, which I think they are.
Not much else going on really. Church last night was good. I almost didn't go, but then Nicole came and picked me up. We learned that we are more useful when we are working in groups. God wants to use everyone, but he wants us to function together to form a better purpose and a stronger force. I really do feel like I could be used to God, especially with some of the people that I hang out with and see on a daily basis. Hopefully we can expand our youth, and do more outreach programs.
We are going to the Corn Maze on October 1st!!! Who's going with me!?!? Emily Sears--you better come this year!
I love Newspaper this year!! woo! There are 10 people in there and that's a perfect number of people on a newspaper. It's a great group and I am positive I can count on each one of them to meet deadlines. I'm so glad that the people of last years staff are long gone, except for two awesome people named KORRIE BOWERS and BRANDY CROSBY..I have to shout out to them, because they were a great part of the staff, but I really can't say much else about anyone else..by the way..how's it going girls? Let me know when you guys are coming to visit so I can plan to see you! Sorry I missed you Korrie. I talked to Bailes to see if you were already gone. She said you were in and out very quickly. Hope you guys are doing well.
Another shout out to my Lindsey Hanks. I'm talking to you right now, but I still think you should have a shout out in here. I miss you Lindsey! Can't wait to hang out! I miss our hall roaming 3rd periods lol definately miss that!
Since I'm on a shout out roll, I definately think I should include Kyle Brock. I miss you as well! Even though you kept me up til like 3 in the morning the other night on a school night talking lol, I still adore you! You are going to be so successful!
Alright, well I think that's about enough for today. I'm going to go and maybe get some more homework finished, then I'm going to crash. I'm soo tired!
