Wow, I'm on a roll...two updates in a row. I just got off work a little bit ago and am just getting wound down. These shifts are killing me. I work a 3 til 11 tomorrow..ergh. My next day is off Friday and I think I may sleep the whole day and night. I want to see the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" really bad. I'm almost done reading the book..it was a present for my birthday from a friend..It's really good..definately want to see the movie..I may do that Friday. After work Justin and I hung out and listened to a new cd I got in his car :) He makes me smile! He's like no other boy I've ever met. He's my....Dawson, except way less complicated..lol..no Paceys getting in the way!! Best friends forever!
Anyway, I have a sty (sp?) on my eye. How do you get rid of these things? Where the heck did it come from? I know it's swelled up and it constantly feels like something is poking me in the eye or that someone is in my eye. It is REALLY irritating!!!
I saw a lot of people that I knew today. That was nice..seeing some faces I haven't seen in a while. There are a bunch of people that I want to see this summer..people that I may not see for a while after they leave for their new lives and college and stuff. I better get on the ball and start seeing them. If Lindsey Hanks is reading this lol you better get ahold of me crazy kid..you can't leave without us hanging out one last time!! There are so many more..Korrie, Brandy, Wes, Kyle M, and soo many more. I should just have a party and invite them all so I can see them lol.
An older guy came through my line tonight and we were talking and he asked me how old I was toward the end of the conversation...When I told him I was 17 he just sort of gazed away like he was remembering when he was 17 and then just leaned in and patted me on the shoulder and said "honey, live every year you are given to the fullest and have no regrets. Life is precious." This took me by surprise...he was the last person who I'd ever expect to hear this from..but he said what I needed to hear exactly when I needed to hear it and I thanked him. It was uplifting somehow and some of the best advice I've heard in a while. He told him his wife had been given less than a year to live and it has been 3 months since they told him that. He told me they had been together since she was 17 and he was 20. It's crazy the stories that you hear from people being a cashier. I just ask that you keep him and his wife in your thoughts..and take his advice!
I had to share that
alright..well I'm off to live life to the fullest! NO regrets and no thinking twice about stuff! Have a good day everyone!
Love,
Billie
