do not let timezones get the better of you! it's Tuesday by Manila time, but if you have immense self control, you can wait to read this when it's Tuesday in your timezone. ;D
it's tuesday; there's something they say, you know, about being careful about it.

"They lay there for a few seconds, in the dark, in the future ... listening to the fabulous clockwork of their hearts and lungs, and loving each other."
-- from The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, by Michael Chabon
I just think it's lovely and could inspire some good stories.

i've saved this in our prompt-records (hee. we actually have records! sonstoodstammer laughs at me for this)! don't worry about finding a photo, for us these things are usually pretty serendipitous.
thanks for contributing and participating and yeah! hearts.

The book is about two cousins, Sam Clay and Joe Kavalier. Joe is an immigrant from Prague, and he gets out right before World War II starts. He comes to Brooklyn, where his cousin Sam lives. (Sam's mom is Joe's aunt.) Sam is obsessed with comic books and loves to write, but he can't draw. Joe went to art school, so he ends up drawing the comics and Sam writes them. They end up "hitting it big" with their comic books. And there's a bit of slashiness. Not between Joe and Sam -- that would be weird because they're cousins -- but one of those two characters is gay. It's a fantastic book. I went on for a paragraph about it, so of course I highly recommend it.
